MINI MAP PACK

This is a collection of three Marathon maps designed for multi-player
games. In general the maps are small, to avoid spending a lot of time
hunting for your opponent. In addition, there are few if any aliens. The
main idea is to slaughter the guy on the other end of the Ethernet drop.
Assault rifles and rocket launchers abound.

Many thanks to Steve Israelson for producing _Pfhorte_, an excellent map
editor. Version 1.0d15 (68K version) was used to create most of these
maps. It is much advised for anyone wishing to produce their own maps.

All maps have been extensively tested with two players (at the cost of
much lost research time). They should accomodate up to eight players.

The three maps and this ReadMe have been checked with Disinfectant 3.6.

Chuck's House
-------------
This is a fairly accurate representation of my home, sans basement. The
enforcer and trooper are little additions I made past what in fact is
present, but the general level of pyrotechnics is pretty close to normal
(although the SPNKR is somewhat more potent than the pack of bottle
rockets currently in my closet).
This was a fun map to make and play. If anyone else has maps of their
homes or work places, I'd love to see them. I plan to make a map of my
lab sometime in the future (chance to use the biohazard and radiation
patterns).

Donut of Terror
---------------
Simplicity following the example of The Arena. Largish open spaces, and
lots of sniper ledges. Note that lurking on a ledge carries the price of
being in an illuminated area.

Laser Fusion Chamber
--------------------
(I currently live next to an experimental Tokamak reactor, hence the
inspiration for this map). Best description is to play it. Note that the
elevators have a one-way transparent door at the top, at least for players
(Bobs go in and out quite easily). I have no idea why this is so, but it is sort
of a neat feature. If you have not read this file, you may learn this the
hard way as you attempt to escape via the down elevator...
I have put low frequency occurances for most of the aliens in the hopes
of getting an occasional enemy, but have yet to see one. If anyone
understands how to interpret the frequency values I would love to hear
from them.

	Hope you enjoy them!
